After seeing a number of people in my plurk timeline discussing about the opps and payouts that Payu2blog regularly sends their bloggers, I decided to give it a try. It's been several months since I first applied for blogger membership at Payu2blog. I think my first submission was December last year but I didn't get in. It turns out that Payu2blog has the following requirements for blog approval
- A wordpress customized blog. Meaning, a wordpress with a .com domain. You can't submit a http://www.yournamehere.wordpress.com/. It should be http://www.yourname.com/. I think they prefer wordpress over Blogger, LiveJournal, etc. because users cannot edit the html settings and input ad codes
- Your blog should be at least 3 months old, with a minimum of 30 posts
- Your blog must be in English
- Your blog must not have any other form of advertisements, i.e. Nuffnang, Adsense, Entrecard, Infolinks, etc.
With this, I created a .com site and after several months, submitted the url to Payu's site. I was surprised one day when I received an email from someone named MARGIE, saying that my blog has been approved! Yey! She asked me to send my contact details and paypal account email. I was supposed to wait for 5 days for them to send me my user login and password but none came. I thought my blog has been rejected in the final review so I decided to let it go. A month later, I suddenly thought of resending my details to Margie and remind her of my pending user account. She then replied immediately and apologized for the delay. After having my account running and active for a day, I already got a couple of opps and several more the next day! I was so thrilled because the assignments were rather easy and doesn't demand lengthy submission! Freeform assignments are usually priced at $5, but I heard there are occassional $12 or $50 opps. I also find it really nice that there's no minimum amount needed in order to receive payment/cashout.
A couple of weeks later, I finally received my late payout! Indeed, Payu2blog is real! I consider it a great site to earn money online. Thanks Sheriff! :)
Hi Dani, I just got approved as well, but I have less than 20 posts in a month and I have Adsense and Nuffnang. I think it's just PayPerPost/Sponzai/Izea that they don't want.
ReplyDeletewow that's great ! keep it up!

Really? Wow, that's great! I have online friends who had to take down their adsense and nuffnang codes when they applied for PayU2blog. I think the 30posts/month will apply for the newer blogs. But if your blog is running for several months/years already, less than 20 posts a month would do. Mine doesn't meet the 30posts requirement as well, but I've had it for almost a year already before turning it into a .com site. :) Weeee! I got my first paycheck, will use it at Agoda for hotel bookings hihihihi

Hi Ronel!
ReplyDeleteTiyaga lang kasi matagal talaga sila mag-approve :) Good luck and thanks for dropping by!
ReplyDeleteahaha your in na din!
ReplyDeleteMargie is super nice :)
and you can add a blog every month.. ako I have 7 blogs na with them
wow! 7 blogs? ang dami nun and ang saya everytime it's raining opps! will add more blogs nga soon..thanks for the info! :D
ReplyDeleteI just got my blog http://mommylace.com approved! I am trying to get a new domain so I can add it up again :)
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in submitting my blog to PayU. It's in wordpress. Does it mean I only need to buy a domain name for it? No need to sign up for a paid host? :-) Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteYes, VERY helpful. My blog is in wordpress.com. But I'm thinking maybe I should just go ahead and get a paid host for it along with my other blogs. I only blog for fun but if I can do a bit of paid blogging to cover hosting and domain registration then that would be neat :-) Thanks Dani!
ReplyDeleteI would like to sign-up with Payu2blog. I'm currently accepting assignments from Inpostlinks. I've heard that they won't accept blogs connected to Izea. How could I apply then? Also, should I remove all my adsense codes before applying? Lastly, my blog has its own domain name but currently hosted at Blogger. Should I transfer to Wordpress? And one more thing about their registration ... during registration, they need "Country", "City" and "State". What should I put in the field when I'm from the Philippines?
ReplyDeleteSorry, I've flooded your comment form with questions. :) I do hope you could shed light on this matters.
Thanks much and God Bless!
Thanks for your prompt reply Dani. This is very informative and I highly appreciate your digging into details. :)
ReplyDeleteSo, I guess, I'll be reading more about setting up blogs on wordpress.org then. I am also thinking about transferring my Blogger hosted blog to Wordpress. I've read about a lot of bloggers transferring to wordpress (maybe for this reason? lol!).
If I'm to make a new blog, then i still have to wait at least 3 months before I can submit, :( I need "patience meter" for this . :)
Again, many thanks to you and happy blogging!
