Celebrate the flavors through IFEX 2010 treats!


International Food Exhibition Philippines (IFEX), the country's ever growing trade fair for gourmet options, is set to showcase the most delectable and exciting food finds on May 6-8, 2010 at World Trade Center, Pasay City.

Now on its 7th year, IFEX will include an International Hall that welcomes variety of food culture and exciting trends from different countries turning IFEX into a truly global marketplace of luscious dishes and exciting food ideas from every corners of the world. The gastronomic event will feature beverages, meat and poultry, organic products, snacks, marine products, processed fruits, among others.

Renowned Filipino Filmmakers through the lens of Oscar Orengo

Instituto Cervantes, in celebration of the 8th edition of PelĂ­cula, launched a photo exhibit featuring several fundamental figures of the contemporary Philippine cinema last October 6, 2009 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).

Dubbed as “Eksena: Mga Sineastang Pilipino (Filipino Filmmakers),” the exhibit displays the work of renowned Spanish photographer Oscar Orengo. On display are photographs of 44 Filipino directors and actors. Top-billing the exhibit are photos of award winning and renowned local directors like Peque Gallaga, Jose Javier Reyes, Eddie Romero, Joel Lamangan, Maryo J. delos Reyes, Brilliante Mendoza and Jeffrey Jeturian. The younger directors such as Erik Matti and John Torres are also included.
