Pancake House, Pancake Heaven

Things I look for when I'm sad: Beer, Burger and Fries, Pancakes.

Things I look for when I'm happy: Beer, Burger and Fries, Pancakes, Georgina Wilson photos.

Last night, I was happy/sad so Ian, Sheila, and I had dinner at Pancake House Galleria.

Ian

Sheila

We ordered, well, pancakes. -.-

Butter, I eat you forever!!!

Classic Pancakes (Php116 for 2 pcs, Php142 for 3pcs) - Golden brown pancakes served with butter that looks like an ice cream scoop. Boom! Awesome x 10! If you like your pancake different (I don't), you could go with the flavored ones: blueberry, cheese, peach, walnut, etc.

wooooooooow

Php116 may seem too pricey for a 2-pc plain pancake (McDo sells it at half the price) but I suggest you give it a try. Aside from the great food, Pancake House has a laid-back feel that contributes to the dining experience.

Danissa tries Uncle Cheffy's Panizza

I DECLARE THIS MY COOLEST POST EVER BECAUSE THE TITLE RHYMES.

meh.

So what's a Panizza?

It's a very thin pizza (go figure!) that you roll up with Arugula leaves and Alfalfa sprouts. It's like Yellow Cab's Dear Darla Pizza minus the hard crust and YC's signature oiliness. Hihi.

 thin-crust panizza

Last week, we went to Uncle Cheffy at Eastwood mall to try it out. The sign said "Brick-Oven Panizza" which reminded me of Chi's brick oven kitchen at BF Homes, PQ.

I like how the crust is thin and crisp yet it doesn't crack or break when you roll it. Note that it doesn't have much cheese and toppings so make sure to add arugula, alfalfa, and salsa. Just imagine you're eating pizza and salad at the same time. LOL. Putting the vegetables and rolling up the crust before taking a bite makes eating a panizza fun and experiential.

/KICK Villar and Enrile adsense

The Annoying Adsense Political Ads are annoying. Manny Villar and Juan Ponce Enrile, could you please get out of my very soshal and uber sikat blog? My loyal readers--all three of them--are not happy with you. And that's, liek, wtf? Nobody invited you here, uhmkay?

Good thing I found a way to roundhouse kick block them on adsense (whattanoob) yey!!!

Went to Google Adsense account > Adsense Setup > Competitive Ad filter

Under Adsense for Content Filters I typed the following on my Content / Feed / Search tabs:

www.facebook.com/JuanPonceEnrile
www.facebook.com/mannyvillar

TripleJack!

Click 'Save Changes' and that's it! I haven't seen any of their faces on my page since I "filtered" them. It would take a while to take effect though, so be patient. Play Plants and Zombies or something. Make good use of the innernettz by googling Georgina Wilson photos.

LOOK HERE

Now, can somebody teach me how to block Manny Villar on Yahoo Messenger? I promise to buy you beer. If you're cute, I'll go out with you.

Ha!

No, I'll just buy you 2 bottles of beer.

Mobile Marketing on the Go!

I'm a student. Yep! I just look bummed out all the time but I do have a job and am currently taking up a post-grad diploma course at ADMU (check out their site heeerrree).

Anyway, we just finished our module on Mobile Marketing last week. Learned quite a lot in this class, especially when we got tasked to submit a mobile marketing plan. Hours were spent on online and offline meetings, email exchanges and preparing a creative presentation. Kudos to my Awesome Petron groupmates Nat, Bong, Acee, Thea, and Balot! I appreciate your insights on ROI, sms costs, and Doritos (hehehehe).

mock-up banner I designed for Petron's Gas Up! Gear Up! campaign

===

Since we're on the topic of mobile, lemme share this lulz comparison of a "Pinoy cel owner 10 years ago" and
a "Pinoy cel owner 2010"

1. Price of a mobile sim card

10 Years Ago: A sim pack would cost around Php800 to Php1000. Ouch.
2010: Get it for as low as Php10. Or free, when you buy a new phone.

2. Your sim got PIN blocked

10 Years Ago: You will cry and blame your little sister/brother for trying to guess your PIN code. Emotional drama caused by reason #1. You will also spend the day searching your bedroom for that black paper thingy with the PUK code. You will not find it.
2010: "Hi guys, I will use this number starting today. My sim got whacked this am. Please save. Thnx!"

3. You got asked, "What are the latest phone models of Nokia?"

10 Years Ago: You will proudly recite all ten models, starting from 5110. Then you'll show your newly-modified Nokia 3210 with lcd background, neon keypad lights, and faux 3310 case.
2010: Lemme google that.

4. Reasons for purchasing a phone

10 Years ago:

2010:

5. You cannot live without your phone because

10 Years Ago: Your inbox can only accommodate 15 sms (you were never a fan of the INBOX FULL alert) Also, your ego requires you to beat your classmate's high-score in Snake.
2010: One cannot live without a phone. FTW!!!
